Weight Loss and Certain Foods

Weight loss experts have discovered that certain foods can actually help you to lose weight without the stress of dieting or exercise.

The down side is that many of us have a tendency to dress these foods up with cheese, sour cream, butter or other calorie-laden flavor enhancers. This causes the weight loss effect to be lost.

Here is a partial list of foods that can help you to lose weight painlessly:
apples, cranberries, grapefruit, lemon mango, oranges, pineapple, raspberries, strawberries, tangerines, asparagus, beets, cabbage (green), carrots, cauliflower, hot Chile peppers, cucumbers, endives, garden cress, garlic, green beans, lettuce, onion, papaya, radishes, spinach, turnips and zucchini.

It has been found that those who ate foods that were very low in fat and high in carbohydrates, lost weight steadily, without limiting how much they ate. But those
on high-fat diets could not effectively lose weight even if they ate skimpy portions.

The fact remains that losing weight occurs when we eat fewer calories than we burn. Healthy,well-balanced diets are the safest and surest ways to lose weight and then
be able to keep it off.

Eliminating any one food will affect a loss of weight, but that kind of program isn't healthy or wise and our bodies will begin to crave foods which contain whatever nutrient we are not consuming enough of.

We will crave certain foods and a “craving” is more than just a preference for a certain food or the impulse to buy a certain snack food. It is an intense desire for a certain food that we will go to almost great lengths to satisfy because our bodies need the nutrients in that food.

That is why a balanced diet is the best chose for a weight reduction program.
